Getting to Germany! Step 1: Roadtrip to Dallas, Texas

The road trip to Dallas was about a 9 and a half hour drive! Since we left late in the day, we didn't arrive until about 2am in the morning! My grey cat, Max slept by my feet the entire time, while my black cat, Jack slept in his kennel.

This is where Max hung out most of the road trip.
The next morning we had time to check out Dallas. They aren't kidding when they say "Everything's bigger in Texas!" everything building we saw 2x bigger than normal. These are some pictures we took of downtown Dallas!

My favorite part of Dallas was going to the Rainforest Cafe! I had a couple opportunities to go there in Vegas and in Disneyland, but it never worked out. So I was SO excited to finally have the chance to go! The interior was amazing, I felt like a 5 year old kid! There were robotic animals moving around and making noises, giant fish tanks, and a ceiling that mimicked the night sky! Not to mention the food was amazing! I can honestly say it is my favorite restaurant by far!

these in my bedroom!

After lunch, my husband and I walked throughout the giant mall and decided to visit the aquarium! Yes, this mall literally had an aquarium in it, along with other crazy things!

I loved these fish, they reminded me of one of my favorite lipsticks!

This camera really didn't do this picture justice.
They were so much prettier than this in real life!

Besides the Rainforest Cafe and the Aquarium, the rest of our time in Dallas was a blur of taxis, motels, and racing around to accomplish all our errands. I could barely sleep when I got back to the motel, I was too excited to get on the plane to Germany in the morning!
