The Flight to Germany!

The airport process in Dallas was a little crazy. From checking passports and paperwork to getting the cats secured on the plane, it took a while just to get our boarding passes. Once the chaos had settled, we had lunch at the Cool River Cafe and had the best Steak Brochette ever!

Our flight was on a German airline called Lufthansa. I can honestly say I didn't feel like I was moving to a different country until I got onto the plane. Even though we were still in Dallas, about 90% of the passengers and all of the staff members were speaking in German. Everything on the plane was written in German including magazines and directional signs on the plane.

Our plane!

Our flight to Frankfurt was 10 and a half hours...yeah. Luckily they had televisions on the back of every seat so we could watch tv episodes and movies (in english too.) After watching Twilight Breaking Dawn , I took a few sleeping pills and slept for most of the way.

Once we landed in Frankfurt we had to catch another flight to Nuremberg. While we waited for our flight we got to try German soda and I got my first Euros!

My first €50

Extremely jet-lagged and waiting for our flight to Nuremberg.
Once we arrived to Nuremberg we got a ride to Vilseck, got a hotel, and went to sleep!
